AI reads orders in any language
A manufacturing company that exports
AI recognises the customer, converts their own product codes into the company’s codes and shows how confident it is for each item. The sales rep just confirms it.
How it used to be
Orders came in by email as PDFs, spreadsheets and plain text, often in a foreign language. On top of that, every customer wrote their own product codes their own way. Salespeople converted them to the company’s own codes by hand and typed them into the company system. The same went for incoming invoices.
How it works now
AI reads the email and the attachment, recognises the customer and converts their product codes into the company’s own. For each item, it shows how confident it is. The salesperson checks the draft, corrects it if needed, and confirms it. Only then does the order get entered into the company system. Incoming invoices go through the same process, and AI also checks the totals and whether they’ve arrived twice.
What we’ve built
- Reading orders from email: PDFs, spreadsheets and text, in any language
- Converting the customer’s product codes into the company’s codes, even if they’re written differently
- An app where the sales rep checks and confirms the draft
- Entering the confirmed order into the company system
- Checking incoming invoices: totals, whether they’ve arrived twice, and who they’re from
A real project, we don’t name the client.
