Who processes the data

Solny Digital s.r.o., company registration number 21313199, kontakt@solny.digital.

What we process about you

The website only collects what you enter yourself in the enquiry form (name, company or school, email, enquiry) or in the AI analysis (description, company or school and email), plus visit data as described in the Traffic measurement section. What changes if you allow marketing cookies in the bar is explained further down in the Ad measurement section.

When you get in touch

When you send us an email or an enquiry through the form, call us, book a call through Calendly or send us a description for an AI analysis, we process your name, company or school, email, phone number and whatever you write to us. We only use this to reply to you, prepare the analysis and arrange the call. We keep the enquiry and the analysis in our list of prospects, so we know who we’re in touch with and can follow up on your enquiry. The reason for this is your enquiry and, where relevant, preparing to work together.

Traffic measurement

For every visit, the server records the page address, time, browser details and where you came from. It stores the IP address in shortened form, so it can’t be used to trace a specific device. We delete these records after 30 days at the latest. They’re used to run and secure the website, and to see how many people search engines and AI assistants bring to us. The reason is our legitimate interest.

If you allow analytics cookies in the banner, we also use PostHog (servers in the EU) to measure what you click on, how long you spend on each page and how you move through the site, including a recording of your visit. What you type into forms doesn’t get included in the recording. The reason is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

If you decline analytics cookies, PostHog only counts the visit, without cookies: it works out a fingerprint from your IP address and browser, which can’t be used to work out the IP address and which changes every day. So it won’t recognise you the next day. The reason is our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit the website.

Who else sees it

Calendly, which is used to book the call, and our email provider. The enquiry from the form and the AI analysis are stored on our own server, in our list of prospects. We get notified of a new enquiry or analysis (company, name, email and what you wrote) through Telegram, whose servers may be outside the EU. The description from the AI analysis (without the email) is processed by the AI model provider, who prepares the analysis from it, and this may be outside the EU. We then send you the analysis from our own email address. Traffic measurement data is processed by PostHog (servers in the EU). Your browser always downloads the Meta Pixel script from Meta, but we only send it your visit data once you’ve agreed to marketing cookies (see Ad measurement). We don’t share it with anyone else.

Ad measurement

This site has a Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook and Instagram) installed on it. Until you allow marketing cookies in the cookie banner, it’s switched off: it doesn’t store cookies and doesn’t tell Meta which pages you’ve opened. However, when you open the page, your browser downloads its script from Meta’s servers, so Meta sees your IP address and browser type, just as it would with any downloaded file. When you allow marketing cookies, the Pixel stores the _fbp and _fbc cookies in your browser for 90 days and tells Meta which pages you’ve opened, along with your browser details and IP address. When you book a call through the Calendly window, get an AI analysis done, or send us a question, it also tells Meta that this happened, without your name, email or what you wrote. This lets us see whether our ads are bringing in people who actually get in touch with us, and helps Meta target its ads better as a result.

If you come to the website from one of our ads, the page address contains a tag for that ad (utm parameters). If you book a call, we pass this on to Calendly too, so we can see which ad you came from when you call. If you send us an enquiry or an AI analysis, we store the tag with it. When you move to another page on the website, the form also picks it up from the address of the previous page. The reason for this is our legitimate interest in knowing which ads work. If you allow analytics or marketing cookies in the bar, the website remembers the tag on other pages too, until you close the browser tab.

We are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and passing this data on to Meta (controller addendum). What Meta does with it afterwards is described in Meta’s privacy policy. Meta may link it to your Facebook or Instagram account and may transfer it outside the EU too. This is done on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

How long we keep it

For as long as we’re dealing with your question or a possible working relationship. If no working relationship comes of it, we delete the data no later than 2 years after our last message to each other. If it does, we keep it for the duration of the working relationship and then only as long as the law requires (accounting and tax records for up to 10 years). We delete server visit records after 30 days at the latest, and PostHog data after a year at the latest.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, to have it corrected or deleted, ask us to limit how we process it, object to it or ask for it to be transferred. Just write to kontakt@solny.digital. You can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
